The Adult Outpatient program serves adults (18 years and older) who seek professional help in coping with mental illness, emotional difficulty, and/or substance abuse recovery issues.
Program services include individual and group therapy, family intervention, psychological evaluations, psychiatric services, and case management services.
Utilizing person-centered planning principles, our staff work as a team to assist consumers and their families in improving their coping skills and quality of life.

The goals of this program include:
- the reduction and elimination of psychiatric symptoms
- enhancement of personal skills and growth
- the establishment of optimal individual functioning
- support for consumer recovery and community integration
- reduction of mortality through the promotion of optimal physical health
This program serves more than 3,400 persons each year.The majority of Adult Outpatient consumers have been hospitalized prior to admission. Those consumers who have no hospitalization history may be in a crisis at the time of intake.
